Well, this new sale wasn't as earth shattering as they were making it out to be, but it's still pretty good. So, we're going to go ahead and bite the bullet on this. I'm going in this weekend to get started on the process. So, you'll count me as a neighbor in a few months.

Hi, we also bit the bullet and placed a contract on a house in Fieldstone this week. They have not dropped their prices much (good for current owners) but they are offering an incredible interest rate that is hard to pass up. If all goes through as planned, we'll close the end of January and will be calling Blue Range Road our new address. We're very excited and look forward to meeting all our neighbors. We are also from NJ - seems like most everyone in Fieldstone Farm is from the NE. We have a little boy, 3 1/2 years old and it seems there will be lots of kids for him to meet and play with. Fingers and toes crossed

Welcome to the Neighborhood. Your right there are many here from the NE. While we moved here from Canada I am actually a true grit girl from the south. I am prob around the corner from ya so wave when you see peeps walking by. So far everyone is very friendly, very respectful of others and child friendly.

I'm going in today to put money down and pick my lot. So, to all of you in FF, you'll count me as a neighbor in the very near future.

New schools for Fieldstone?
Are they really changing schools for the 09-10 year? We moved here 5 months ago, and have been renting, in an area we aren't crazy about. We are looking to buy in Fieldstone or Annandale. However, our kids (and us) have been happy with PRES & PRMS. We stupidly assumed these developments would keep them in those schools. Where will the new school be?

Not sure who exactly is going where but I do know there is a new school that is being built right smack infront of Annadale. Wish I could help you. I heard one neighbor in Fieldstone say her kids were moving to the new one but I dont know. My son will stay at Proter Ridge for his Special Needs as far as I am told so I have not checked into it much.
Hope someone can help

The new school is actually across the entrance from Bonterra. Bonterra, Annandale and Fieldstone Farm is definately going to the new school as well as Lake Park.

Hi everyone, we closed on our house this past Tuesday (Blue Range Rd). Our experience w/Centex and Centex Mortgage was seemless. We were weary of using their mortgage company but could not pass up the interest rate they were offering. I've heard good and bad about their mortgage process but for us, they had everything taken care of and we closed in just three weeks from when we put our first deposit down (inventory home) - no issues, no delays, no surprises.
Looking forward to getting out in the neighborhood to meet some of you. Thanks to everyone for all your input on this forum, it's been very helpful.
Cheers!
