I agree. That was called to my attention a while back . . . and since, I have tried to make sure I use newcomer, as that is much better. And anyone who has been here a while . . . well, they are bona fide members of the community. If you pay taxes here, you are a Charlottean, LOL.

3. Al Capone's (subs)
4. Blue Grass Night at CanTab Lounge

People get over it. Adapt to Charlotte and all it has to offer. Let's not bring our old baggage to our new home. The natives are welcoming and we should embrace them, not bring up what we left behind. If you miss it so much, go back.
FYI. I AM a transplant myself.

Well . . . I am a native and I still miss the boats, LOL!!! So I know how it is when you lived somewhere and you move . . . there are just things you are gonna miss. And not like I can substitute something for the casinos. There just aren't any here.

Oh, but we're not complaining at all. I LOVE it here. The thread asked us to say what we miss about "home" that we don't have here. I don't see this as a Charlotte bashing thread at all.

No, I didn't see it as a CLT bashing thread, either.

And there's not one thing you miss from home? Not a single thing?
