How's the weather up there this week? It might be really nice. We got some nice mid-50s here in South Florida, but i would love to snuggle up by the fireplace with the temp in the 30s.

It was in the 40's today and supposed to be the same tomorrow but we will be in the 20's overnight for a few nights. Brrrr....I'll be wearing my socks to bed and turning on the fire for the kids to warm up in the morning. I'm thinking we should have put up our Christmas lights last weekend...I hate doing it in the cold.

I have had several of my FL friends and family letting me know how cold it is down there today. I must admit when we lived there I would break out the gloves, mittens, peacoat and scarf for 50 degree weather. Well a few winters under my belt here, and I laugh at them. With the wind chill here, today is was about a high of 32. Oh, and that wind was the rough part.

I can't speak for your part of Jersey, but I'm used to a week of this in December, followed by a warm up. This is pretty much January & February weather (except the January thaw).
