Not sure where you live but there is a bakery in the Ballantyne area, Decadent Designs, 704-542-7797. They are taking orders now. They had it in the Observer last weekend. www.decadentdesignsbakery.com

What kind of pies are good there? Their website doesn't really say anything about pies.Is it too late to put orders in on Monday?

They have apple, pumpkin, bourbon pecan, egg cream, coconut custard. Just ask them if you don't see what you want.

I went by there today and they are going to be open this Monday (they're usually closed), because of the holiday. They said they would have some in the case on Wed. too for people who didn't call ahead. They have other holiday desserts too. Cheesecake, maybe pumpkin roll? Not sure
