Anyone going to the Monroe Christmas parade today (11/23/08) at 2 PM? Marvin Ridge HS is leading the parade...

organizations, cheerleaders, clowns and yes, even little funny cars. A parade wouldn’t be a Christmas parade if Santa Claus didn’t appear, and the jolly man has promised to be in Monroe just in time to end the parade. The parade route begins at the intersection of Sunset Drive and Parker Street and ... 2 p.m., and the parade typically lasts approximately two hours. WIXE radio personalities will be lending their commentary to the broadcast taping by Time Warner Cable. The parade will be broadcast several times in upcoming weeks; the schedule has not yet been determined.
