My son is on IM right now, trying to confirm that I made 2 green bean casseroles and one large broccoli casserole (and a smaller one JUST FOR HIM). I assure you, there is going to be some serious chowing down at our house, LOL!!! But I will take a walk around the block, for what that is worth, Hee Hee!!! Thanks, MD!!!!

We're meeting family in the mountains. We've rented a great house in Mars Hill where there will be seven of us: my husband & I, our daughter from D.C. our son and his girlfriend from Durham and my husband's brother and his wife from Lexington, Virginia. I've been preparing and packing up the food all day - pork tenderloin, salmon, sweet potatoes, pies, tiramisu, coffee cakes, fruits and berries, wine, appetizers, etc. I feel as though I'm transporting H-T up there with me. We're hoping that the weather will hold out because our house is high up in the mountains and we have only one four wheel drive among the seven of us.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

This is the first year ,in too many to count ,that I won't be hosting dinner at our home. It feels wierd, but I'm okay with it. Time for a cool change.......
We're heading to Savannah tomorrow to spend the holiday with my Mother in law and her new family. They are very nice so it should be a good time and I can ignore, for one day, that my mother in law CAN'T COOK!!
I made the sweet potatoes and some roasted almond bark and feel ike I should be soing so much more, but I have to let goooooooooooo
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!

Well the trip up to Ohio went smoothly. There wasn't much traffic except in VA, but that was brief.
