We got home last night and put up the tree and after "breakfast" we're going to start decorating.
How did your Thanksgiving day go? I hope your still enjoying your family and that they can spend most of the day today.
Welcome back! I am so glad you enjoyed your trip! We had a crowd and so enjoyed it. And DS stayed til yesterday - hated to see him go but he is not far away (Boone). I just like having him around, LOL.

Glad you are back!!!! Have fun decorating . . .

The boxes, ani, are a bit like Gremlins. They seem to be multiplying after midnight!

Awww...thanks Ani

We ventured to eastern Tennessee for some R & R with an old friend. It was a fun trip. We were 20 miles beyond the middle of nowhere so I couldn't check in here by computer, lol. Glad to see you kept the place humming!

Things were very quiet here for about 24 hours! I think we were all in a sugar coma after Thanksgiving!!!!

Brian started a new thread where we can post pictures of holiday decorations, so that should prove to be fun.

Your trip sounds wonderful . . . Our neighbor state of TN is a beautiful place to spend some time . . .

Well Wytheville, VA was certainly not the place to be yesterday afternoon. There was a 6 car pile up on 77S that had us sitting there for nearly 2 hours. We left Ohio at 9am & got back home at 7pm. Traffic was very heavy from WV to Crown Town.

Too bad you couldn't get off I77 and head down some of the back roads that parallel the interstate!

Traffic tie ups seem to have been a problem in a lot of areas coming home yesterday. I think more people took trips than might have been anticipated by AAA because of the cheap gas prices. We actually got gas yesterday near Crossville, TN for 1.56!!!! Our traffic headache was 50 miles on both sides of Knoxville - what a mess!! It cost us an extra hour and a half on our ride home

Loves I stopped at one station in WV that had gas prices that were more like they are here at home.
