what brought/will bring you to Charlotte?
For my family, Charlotte is great, and we will be able to afford to buy our own home, can't do it where we are...

Life restructuring opportunity. New job, affordable housing and a chance at starting a family.

For us it was a combination of things - the affordablility of housing (we can't afford to buy where we live now), being closer to our family (a days drive vs a 6 hour flight right now), and the warm weather (we don't want to deal with a LOT of snow each winter).

Having grown up in Western North Carolina and moving around several times I can't tell you how happy I am to be back in NC. "Nothing could be finer..."

We moved from the Triad, mainly since there's more to do in Charlotte, we were already constantly coming here anyway. Also wanted to be closer to Lake Norman in case we ever get the opportunity to own a boat.

We moved here solely to be nearer to our family in SC. We were very happy in Colorado & would have stayed, but felt our child should be near relatives. We miss Colorado quite a bit---
