Hi All!

If I don't get a chance to say it (holidays are C-R-A-Z-Y) HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my new friends on the broad.

Now... I have a question I need help with. My "not-as-young-as-she-used-to-be" Mom is in from Florida visiting for the holidays and I would like to take a day trip next weekend to Asheville. I haven't been there yet. Whats a nice way to spend the afternoon there, that wouldn't involve too much walking?

Also, does anyone know if you can rent a wheelchair to tour the Biltmore estate?

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

Biltmore is an expansive place, but I do believe it is very accomadating for folks needing to rent a wheelchair while there. I just seem to have a memory of seeing them there, strollers too, the last time I was there.

Be sure to get up on the Blue Ridge Parkway and take her to see the new Destination Center and the always popular Folk Art Center. They are within a mile or so of each other and very easy to get to. Neither place is so large that she couldn't get around and enjoy them. The Destination Center has a great little movie theater with a wonderful film about the history of the Parkway.

Hope you have a lot of fun with your mom!
