Nope, I wouldn't go there. This brings me back to my teenage dating years with conversations that go like this:

Him: "Um, what do you want to do?"
Me: "I don't know; what do you want to do?"

Plan it.

Agreed. Have a plan, but be flexible if she has other ideas. Best of luck!

Depending on how the weather is, you might want to keep it indoors. Have you been to Jillian's?

Maybe not for a first date, but I love that place. You can shoot pool, have a drink, play arcade games and have dinner. It's a fun place and the train stops right in front of it.

Geez, sounds like the girl I last dated. Then I gave three suggestions, no help, so then I picked one and she complains later. GRRR!

When you open the car door for her, and close it behind her, make sure her leg is in the car first. The worst first date I ever had started by picking her up, opening the car door for her, closing the door, but it bounced back, so I closed it again harder, then I heard the screaming. I broke her leg and ended up spending the whole night at the hospital while she got an x-ray and cast. That was my first and last date with that girl.

My worst dates were planned!!! I planned NOTHING with my last first date. She is my wife now!!! My best advice is plan the date if you don't wish to keep her!!! Keep in mind the OP is probably not a teenager.
