Hopefully, all will go well with the purchase of the business and the move there. If it doesnt fall into place (financing being difficult to get right now on ANYTHING) I still hope to be a participant on the board until we can move to NC..
Karen, we hope things are gonna work out for you! If you have a good business plan, there IS money out there . . . the banks are just being very cautious about lending. Let's hope you can get the financing you need so you can move forward.
Regardless of what happens TODAY - the economy will turn around - and so if you keep the dream of coming here - I would bet in 2009 you will be here!

Contrary to all the fear-mongering, there is money to be lent out in the marketplace at traditional terms. But the days of 100%-120% financing are over, which IMHO is a great thing.
