Not sure what was happening this afternoon but inbound Independence was shut down and the cops were shunting traffic into the bus lanes.

For some reason, no one seemed to realize that those lanes are designed for two way traffic. So all the buses trying to go out bound got stuck because traffic was in their lane.

If you were on an outbound bus this PM, you have my condolences.

I saw on tv that there was a gas line break. Glad I don't drive that way!

I do ride the bus, and they were actually routing outbound buses onto Independence - along with all the other traffic. Saw one bus that was having to back up out of the bus lane to get back onto Independence.

Wow. Two days in a row Independence gets screwed!
