Alley Cat no longer serves food with Penguin, they do cater in food from Cosmos Cafe for private parties.
Speaking of Cosmos Cafe if you have your ticket from Blumenthal you will receive a discount on your dinner. They have really good food...real wood-fired pizza, fresh sushi, in house desserts, a variety of tapas and entrees...and reasonable prices.
My kids love eating there, but now that we moved to Waxhaw area we don't go as often. I can't wait for the new location to open which will be sooo much closer.
Cosmos is open until 2 and the kitchen is open till 12 midnight. I would say that the night crowd doesn't start until after 10.
