Affordable but decent furniture stores in Charlotte area (Matthews, Thomasville: consignment, house)

Moving to area at end of month and need an idea for a furniture store that has cheap furniture that is well constructed. Something that I can use for a couple years while I rent.

Thomasville Furniture Outlet in Thomasville is liquidating all their merchandise but it locking it doors at the end of the month. If you plan to come down before then and maybe store it in a pods.

We will be down before new years will it still be open then? Is Thomasville high quality furniture and the outlet is just the older models?

Consignment 1st. There are several locations in the Charlotte area. I am constantly redecorating our house so we frequent the Matthews location often. They have some really cool stuff and great prices.
