May be getting a job near Central Piedmont Community College and moving to the area. I'm wanting to know what are the better schools (top 3 ) for the area and best 2 bedroom apts for 650-700.

Also what is the average utility bill for apartment living in that area or where can I go to get average cost of apartment living information. Also the good/bad/ugly info on apartments.

Thanks a bunch.

I'm going to assume you mean the CPCC Main Campus on the edge of uptown. Here's the problem, it's a rather expensive area to live in unless you get a real dive. Better up your price range to AT LEAST $900 minimum. What level schools are you looking for, elementary, high school?? If you could get into it, Elizabeth Traditional Elementary is right off the CPCC campus, BUT, it's s magnet and very hard to get into. Other than that, apartments in that general area aren't always assigned to the best schools. You'd be better off living further into south Charlotte and having a bit of a commute to get better schools.
