Any suggestions on where I can find 60s-type apparel/bags, etc. for the hippie on my Christmas list? I live in South Charlotte, but will travel to any part of the city. Thanks!

My guess would be to try Infinity's End. They should have plenty of hippie gear.

Infinity's End Infinity's End - South Blvd. - Charlotte, NC

There's also a good place in NODA called Sunshine Daydreams they don't have a website but their address is 3225 N Davidson St Charlotte, NC 28205

They both are smoke shops but they both have a lot of clothes, bags, trinkets, jewelry, etc.

Rock & Roll Emporium (5301 Independence Blvd) and Infinity's End (3704 Independence Blvd), reasonably close together near the Colliseum area. I think Infinity's End also has a store on South Blvd.

Double check the Infinity's End Independence location - they closed the shop that was in the Coliseum center last year - their site says they moved to the Independence Shopping Center (5622 Independence, between Idlewild and Conference).

I've also found some fun stuff at World Market for "similarly styled" people on my list, too.
There's one in Matthews just east of Independence on Hwy 51 (by Costco).
Cost Plus World Market - unique gifts, handcrafted furniture, home decor, baskets, jewelry, food/wine and more from around the world

There's also a World Market on South Blvd. My daughter found a shoulder bag on their website that she wanted for Christmas and they don't have it in stock anymore. I went to the store hoping to find it, but no luck. So now I'm on a mission to find something I think she'll like.
