As I was going out the door this afternoon to a business meeting Ben asked to watch a video game he was playing. It was the Panthers against the crapheads (or whatever).I told Ben that I would like him to come to a house I own in Charlotte this summer and we go to Panther Stadium, Nascar, the golf course and Discovery whatever, and spend time together for a week in CLT.

He asked me if this was a "summer house". Hey, what does a 8 year old know? I said yep, kinda of, one of 4 or 5. You can never have enough "summer houses".

I gave him an assignment to search the activities going on in Charlotte for his trip and to find things he would like to do while he's there with me . He's over the top on this idea.

I thought maybe the 32nd floor of the City Club in Uptown and then a little bit of Hooters downstairs. What do you think???

Yeah, Carowinds and Discovery Place . . . and a ride on Lynx (all kids like that). Of course, I am sure that would be an education - the trip to Hooters and all . . . just not the type his Momma would probably be really happy about, LOL.

But then if he lives in NYC . . . that ride on Lynx might be baby stuff. Anyway, Carowinds is a great idea!!!!

Hey, a kid is never too young to learn how good the chicken wings at Hooters are. Sounds like a great idea.
