What a lovely message, Sunny. Thank you.

And, I am grateful for the many new friends that I have met on this c/d forum. I pray that each of you have the blessings of our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ in the coming year. Remember, this truly is the day that the Lord has made...Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

I am thankful for my great family & friends. I was blessed with a close family structure that is always here when we need each other. I am also grateful for my job, as pointed out by Ani, that so many others are losing theirs or have already lost their job. I am thankful for my health. Most of all, I am thankful for Jesus Christ, my personal salvation, and for the relationship I have been able to build with Him to better myself and to recognize what is important in life. I pray for those who have less, for the little ones around the globe that have nothing, and the people who will spend this and many other days alone; and I pray for those that have lost hope to find new life through Christ and His promise.

Merry Christmas to all of you, & I hope you didn't get coal in your socks.

One thing that always got to me about Christmas, actually starting around early evening on Christmas eve, is that sense of the world shutting down one hour at a time in preparation for a wonderful, global celebration. Here we have weeks of crazy rushing around to buy gifts, food for Christmas dinner, fighting lines and traffic no matter the state of the economy. Black Friday sales, Christmas Eve sales, battling for parking spaces, getting up early to be first in line for something, then it comes to a halt on Christmas eve to settle with family and friends. Malls close early evening, other places follow shortly, and the world begins it's celebration.

This has been a pretty tremendous Christmas, one without the shock of having relocated or having a time limit on when to leave. I'm a bit bummed that it's over, not to mention I'm actually gonna miss listening to all of those old Bing Crosby Christmas Radio shows on the SiriusXM (and got to listen to the first known recording of "White Christmas"). At least be thankful that I really don't "Sing with Bing". If I did, next Christmas will probably wind up being canceled shortly...
