Considering a job in Pineville
I am considering a job(3rd shift) in Pineville at the hospital. Is this a safe area? I am concerned since I will be working the third shift and do not want to be in an area with a lot of crime. Can anyone tell me about the area and would you feel comfortable working there during off hours.

I'd have no problem being there at all - nothing to worry about except the ride back up the interstate to get home (if you get off at 7 am you would be competing with all those folks trying to get uptown for work so you'd have traffic to deal with).

Totally fine area. As safe as any hospital in Mecklenburg...maybe except Presbyterian Huntersville.

Would you have to get on I-485 to I-77 North by chance...it probably will be dead stop by the time you got off work.

You will be fine...especially once you get past I-77 on I-485.
Going to Denver...wouldn't you take I-485 to exit #16 (Highway 16/Brookshire Blvd) and go left (North) to Denver?

You are probably correct about the directions. I have a terrible sense of direction that is why my in laws bought me a GPS unit.
