I am from Michigan and looking to move to NC this summer. Davidson has come highly recommended (I'd like to live in a college town) and I was wondering what anyone could tell me about what it's like to live there? By this summer I'll be a newlywed and needless to say a teaching salary isn't anything to brag about- will I be able to afford it there?
What are the schools like? What is the college like?
I would welcome the good and the bad- it's better to know what I might be getting into before I invest all this $$$ moving.
Also, since I'm not set on Davidson, is there anywhere else you would recommend that I look?
Davidson is nice. The price oh homes there are a little higher than some of the surrounding areas. Cornelius and Huntersville are just minutes away, depending on what you maybe looking to spend on a home would determine on which ares to focus on.
