Thanks guys. I guess I'll have to stick a salmon in my carry-on bag when I fly down from Long Island. PJ's might get a little fishy but I guess that's the price I have to pay for a good fish dinner.

Funny, I thought I was the only one who did that. Also drove down with a cooler filled with all types of fish last fall.

In Waxhaw on 16 the butcher shop has a huge selection of fish, but you must order it & then it arrives on Saturday. They even have dry scallops (& also wet). They have a website named after their store whatsyourbeefbutcher.com & it lists all of their fish.

The bus station has a lot of runaways, that is the best place to get fresh fish.

Chilean Sea Bass a fancy name for marketing purposes. Really is Patagonia Toothfish, Not very appetizing
