Social Services /health Questions In Charlotte/surroundings Areas.
GREETINGS, IF ANYONE CAN INFORM ME ON SOCIAL SERVICES AND HEALTH COVERAGE WILL BE APPRECIATED. OUR SON HAS THE " HEALTHY KID CARE PROGRAM " FOR HEALTH INSURANCE HERE IN FLORIDA,DOES N.C. HAVE SUCH PROGRAM ? OUR OTHER SON RECIEVES MEDICARE,MEDICAID AND SSI,( HE IS A VERY SPECIAL GUY )GOES TO A WORKSHOP (eg.GOODWILL INDUSTRIES ) DOES N.C. OFFERS THESE SERVICES ? There is a program similar to Kid Care here, it is called Health Check/Health Choice (I think they are two programs in the same realm) here is the link to some info http://info.dhhs.state.nc.us/olm/for...ma-5063-ia.pdf
If your other son qualifies for Medicaid, Medicare and SSI in Florida he will get them here too, especially the SSI as it is federal, he shouldn't even have to reapply or anything they should just transfer his case here. Hope that helps you out!
