Are the Carolina's as great as you expected? I'm reading alot about people moving there from all over the states. Are you same people finding JOBS easily? Is the weather really great? What are the downsides in moving there from up north? I would love for everyone to share thier views! THANKS

With all the people moving here, there are restaurants opening left and right. Johnson & Wales is also here now I don't know if there are recruiters in your field or not, but if there are perhaps you can start there. If not, perhaps check Charlotte.com (Charlotte Observer website) in their restaurant section for the names of some of the top restaurants around town. Best of luck

Hi, I am also from New Jersey, thinking of moving to Carolina's. From research,Charlotte would be a great place to work. And you can live 20 minutes outside of Charlotte in many great areas, especially for your children.
Check out York county, they have many great schools and safe low crime neighborhoods.Home prices are very affordable and taxes are low...

Its sad actually. If you like to live in suburbs surrounded by endless shopping centers, subdivisions, overcrowding and traffic, NC is the place for you. With local government leaders bent on making us another Florida.

It saddens me to see this, loss of culture and home, in the name of all this 'progress.'
