Didn't see any thread on this. I was driving to work about 10a from Rea Rd onto the 485 west and there was a huge cloud of black smoke just billowing up. I guess a house behind Stonecrest caught fire. Here's the story:

I had missed this story. That fire looks horrific. So glad no one was hurt but I guess they lost everything. How awful.

This house is owned by a co-worker of mine. Our receptionist paged him over the intercom and said it was an emergency. Luckily, his wife took their infant daughter and dog out for a stroll just before the fire started.

I just cannot imagine what it is like for him. Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

So sad...I wonder how it started and how did it get out of hand so quickly.

News reported today it started in some recessed lighting in the ceiling. How scary that it got so out of control and devastating that quickly. Glad the mom, baby and dog were out on a walk!

Ugggghhh . . . and I want to put in recessed lighting. How could it go so wrong? You just gotta wonder how that could happen in a fairly new home. ????
