Default Possible relocation to Stanfield

Hello everyone,

I have searched all over the area for nice places to live and settle our family. So, far Ive looked as far as Salisbury and down to Matthews. I have to say I have not found a "bad" area as of yet.

My husband is being relocated to the Charlotte area next month. We have three children two of whom are elem. school aged. We live in a rural area outside of Reno, NV now and love it. The drive is about 40 min to "town" (Reno) So we are used to a small town feel. I was contacted by a realtor who has found us a potential home in Stanfield.

We hope to be in the area for a very short visit next week sometime. Can anyone tell me about the area, where we should visit to get a feel for the area? I understand "shopping" would be in another town, could anyone point me in the direction of those towns so we could go visit them? Are the schools okay in the area?

Basically, we won't know anyone in the area so any information would be very helpful. So far everyone in Carolina has been so very helpful and nice. I am excited about moving even though we won't know anyone! Living in the Bay area in California for some years it's so refreshing to see so many helpful people are out there.

Again, Thank you for your time

Dana
