Hello,

My fiancee needs to stay in an extended hotel for about4 weeks while our home is being completed. There is a cheap place called "Studio 6" by the airport area. Is this neighborhood ok?

Anyone have any other affordable alternatives?

Thanks!

That is not the best side of town. There is a Red Roof Inn nearby that is on the 6 and 11 o' clock news a lot with crime reports.

I posted a thread the other day looking for short term rentals for friends. There were two replies. One was vacationrentals.com and another recommedation for "The Colony" apartments on Roxbury. I also checked VRBO.com. There are short terms out there but a bit pricey.

Good Luck

No, don't let her stay there, there are much safer areas. Look at the extended stay places in Pineville for instance.

From what I remember of driving around the airport a few times, she would be safer if she rented a storage unit and locked herself in it at night

I work at the airport and you don't want to stay anywhere around it.
