Perhaps the top rated (and most expensive) dog "camp" is in Huntersville and called Camp Waggin Tails. There is usually a story about them in the paper every year. Last time I was there I literly saw a limo pickup a dog and then drive off! We have used them a few times and were very happy.

We also use a pet sitter that we like. She charges about $17 per visist and spends 30 minutes with the dog:

There is one on Bailey Rd in Cornelius called Camp Wagging Tales. I haven't used them so i couldn't tell you how they are. I've driven by it and it has a big outside area for them to play

Immediate need of a dog walker for my mom. She lives on the edge of Mint Hill/Matthews -- just across from Hoods Road Crossing shopping center. Her dog is a Shih Tzu (20 lbs) & needs about a 15 minute walk each morning sometime between 7:00 am & 9:00 am. Maybe some indoor "play time" after walking for an additional 15 min or so.
