Question Good areas to live between Uptown and Concord

Hi!

My husband and I are relocating to Charlotte this summer- taking our first trip down together next weekend. I may be attending Cabarrus College in Concord and his job is located Uptown.

I'm wondering if there are any specific areas or apartment complexes (looking to rent for 6-12 mos before buying) that are between Uptown Charlotte and Concord. Would like something for under $1000/mo for a 2BR/2BA, pool, fitness center.

We would prefer an area that is not too rural- something that wouldn't be much more than a 20-30 minute drive for either of us. We're in our early 30s, social, and don't have any kids yet, so schools aren't really a concern at this point. Looking for an area with restaurants etc. close by.

Any suggestions?

Thanks so much!!

Default Places to live between Concord and Charlotte

Hello,

You should try Mallard Creek Road between Mallard Creek Church Road and W.T. Harris Blvd which runs parallel to I85 to the west side. If you go east of I85 you'll be very close to UNCC. Drive to Concord or Uptown from this area is about 20 minutes, near lots of shopping and restaurants. You may also explore W.T. Harris Blvd itself west of I85 - lots of apartments.

This will truly be your best bet for the two of you going in different directions each day as well as lots to do.

Hope this helps!

Yes this would be the perfect area for what you described your needs to be. I have a list of 50 apartment complexes in that area in your price range with the things you are looking for. They are all beautiful apartments, (my girlfrien and I visited 12 of them recently) and fell in love with how much there was to do in the area and what a good central location b/t uptown and concord. If you would like some of the names of the apartments or any other info just pm me.
