LOL!!! I have no clue . . . I have always assumed leather is sold as a byproduct from the beef industry.

Minks wouldn't be very good to eat . . . I wouldn't think. I believe they are in the rat family.

There was no judging - like I said, it seems your desire to wear fur trumps your love for animals. Unless you know your furs were created from free range creatures who died naturally, or were humanely killed. (what an oxymoron! But I think it's possible.)

You have to accept how the fur got to you before you wear it, or just choose not to think about it.

Unless you see it another way?

My main objection wasn't to fur-wearing, it was to having my position dismissed as "PC", as if I hadn't thought about it fully, as if I was just jumping on some anti-fur bandwagon, without doing any soul-searching.

People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it's safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs.
