I bet they do. Too bad (I guess?) you didn't get the 3-5 originally thought. I was supposed to be in Nashville, NC, this morning, but plans changed and I'm in Southern Illinois, where there is less snow than out there.

I think thats a good thing. People in NC cant seem to drive when it rains a little. I can only imagine what happens when a little snow hits haha Better to be safe than sorry!

Yeah not to mention the school buses sliding around the roads. I was in Evansville, IN a few weeks ago when a snow came through, the school system decided not to cancel classes and they ended up with 5 or 6 school bus crashes.

still snowing in Indian Trail so it may add a little more. Not suppose to taper off till afternoon then the temps and stuff will improve they say!
My eldest (6) said yep mom it snowed but why is school not open. He is used to 2+ feet or more and no closing. Heck they go outside even till -25 C below at his other school. So this is a warm small snow but he will still enjoy it.

According to the news, it's all or nothing with the schools. The schools in Huntersville are the same system as in Eastern and Southern Charlotte where they received more snow.

1.5"" if that near the Arboretum.
The girls were up at 0500 excited for the snow.
How can I blame them (6 & 8), youth is fleeting.
Last good snow for them was 2004.
We had a snowball fight at 6am in the dark - LOL!
Then I headed into the office, here at 0630 unfortunately.
When they are 40 and I am [gulp!] they will say, 'dad, remember that time you let us play in the new snow before the sun came up?'
Priceless.

I think they are more worried about the ride home then on the way to school.
