We are looking to donate our sons car to a charity and were wondering if anyone has any suggestions. We would need someone that is willing to pick it up at our house in Lincoln County. The car runs but needs a new exhaust, so it is very loud.

Give the Kidney Foundation a call - I think they would be happy to take it off your hands

Goodwill also accepts cars, but I don't know if they pick up. When we moved from Cali, we donated our to Cars4Kids - they picked it up at our house, but I don't know how widespread they are.

The Kidney Foundation is a great group to donate to. They will come pick it up.

If it's in decent shape, you might want to sell it and donate the proceeds to a charity. Seems like there's always somebody looking for reliable, inexpensive transportation.

we've donated through Kidney Foundation twice.
The second time, we had just moved to Lincoln County. Yes, after they receive your notarized title, they will come pick up. Then, after they sell the auto at auction, they'll send you a notice of the sales price so you have the correct figures for your taxes. HTH.
