Does a 2-hour delay also mean that students come home 2 hours later, or do they get out at the regular time? I assume the buses pick up 2 hours later in the morning?

They get out at normal time. Buses run 2 hours later for pick up times.

Well, we worked hard to get DD an appointment for teeth to be pulled over a long weekend. I guess she'll have the day off on Friday anyway because I'm not going to try to reschedule. DS will go in tomorrow at 10:50 and eat lunch, then have finals the rest of the day.

I'm kinda surprised there is a delay tomorrow given the sun came out this afternoon, our streets are dry.

There are still a lot of shady wet roads in the county. Since buses pick up starting at 6am, it could be difficult to see all those black ice areas.

I think some developmet streets might be icy in the morning as it is going to be 17 degrees tonight so I assume its just pre-caution...

I understand the precaution. I didn't go out at all today and we live on one of those shady roads so I figured if it is dry then most everything else would be too.

Not a problem, the kids will get to sleep in a little and I'll have a chance to shower before carpool....for once. LOL

Kids will still get home at the regular time, just 2 hrs. less of school (as it is my understanding).
