I'm glad your son is ok. I agree completely about Presbyterian. I also had a great experience with them today.

I actually spent yesterday evening at Presby Matthews ER and absolutely LOVED the doctor that saw my son. We arrived around 8pm was taken back at 8:15 and doc was in the room at 8:30 granted it was slow at that time I guess. We found out the diagnosis by 9pm after a very intense and thorough exam. He was right on the phone contacting the Opth. on call. That was the longest time right there but we were walking out the door to the car at 10:45. The Opth even followed up with him TODAY/Sun at 1:30. I have to say I was extremely impressed.

I've had a mixed bag with them. Lovely facilities, kind and helpful staff. However, the PA we saw misdiagnosed my son's injured foot as broken. He was in a temporary cast until we could see the pediatric orthopedist. I don't really blame the PA, but it was nerve-racking to think my son had a broken foot when it turned he didn't. I know they're not all specifically trained to deal with pediatric cases, but still. I'd go there again, though, and give it another try.
Berry, glad your son is OK!

I've had both of my sons their and my OBGYN is located there an WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I love Presby Matthews and have had to go to the ER there before with no complaints. It's a great facility with an even better staff, doctors and nurses alike.
