Default Presby Hospital in Matthews

I just have to say late this afternoon early evening we had to rush our son 13 to the ER for what our physician thought was Appendisitis. as we are returned home a little while ago anyhow I just wanted to tell everyone what a fantastic hospital it is, and I dont like hospitals in any shape or form but the nurses were wonderful, and the doctors were great!!! we have had experience before there, however not to this magnitude..thankfully it isnt appendisitis and it is a virual infection that seemed to give him alot of pain...anyhow...if u ever need a great ER Id suggest going to Presby in Matthews..

Wow...glad your son is doing ok. Scary.

We also went to the ER at Pres/Matthews last summer and it was wonderful! On a side note the hospital is so "pretty" to...love the little pond!

I had surgery there last year, and it's our ER of choice (though we've only had to go once). Everyone there was kind, polite and genuinely concerned for our well-being. The facilities were clean and grounds nicely kept. I don't have a single bad thing to say about it.

In short, Presbyterian Matthews makes the hospitals in NY seem like Victorian insane asylums.

I went to that ER a few weeks ago (kidney stone) and waited 2.5 hours to get back there then waited another 1.5 for them to get a ct scan. That was the longest wait i'd ever had at any ER in charlotte so I won't be going back there. I was there 6 hours and they didn't even do anything for me.

Try to remember that in the time that you waited, there could have been someone who was having a heart attack,a motor vehicle accident, someone with a ruptured appendix,. The ct machine was probably tied up for priority exams, life or death exams-I am sure they purposely didnt make you wait. it is hard to wait even 5 mins with a kidney stone. Give them another shot, there is alot that goes on behind the scenes that you dont always see or understand.
