I'm looking to take my significant other out for a nice dinner next week for her birthday. We both like Capital Grille, but want to try something different. I have it narrowed down to one of two: Chima (which we both have wanted to try since it opened) and Bentley's on 27 - which just looks awesome from what I have read about it.

Has anyone been to either and have any comments on these places?

So how was the experience?

We were uptown this past weekend with some friends who came into town and we did wind up having a few drinks at Bentley's. The view was amazing, and the vibe in the bar area was very cool - kind of lounge-y and not too stuffy. The drink prices were pretty reasonable too; we were pleasantly surprised when we got our tab.

My review on Chima's from another thread...

I went to Chimas last night. VERY NICE!!! The restaurant is gorgeous and very well decorated. The service was extremely attentive, we had a group of 20 and they didn't miss a beat. The food was outstanding...the "salad bar" had more things on it than most Fogo De Chao's and the meat selection was extremely varied and I didn't have something that wasn't good.

I just took a shot of Pepto Bismol so hopefully I can make it through work today!! I ate way too much!

I have been to Brazas once before a few years ago, if it hasn't changed the "Blue Collar / White Collar" comparison someone mentioned before is spot on.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
