There is quite a bit of discussion about schools on this thread and because we are so close to the state line there are differing opinions as to NC v SC. Some of the posts are strictly opinion based on experience and others based on school reports and local and national stats. Both are valid but for different reasons.

There seems to be some misunderstanding as to the legal rights of Realtors to express their opinions about a particular school system. When a Realtor is doing business with a CLIENT it is illegal to disclose to that CLIENT their opinion (whether valid or not) regarding a particular school. However, in general discussion with other individuals Realtors have the same right as anyone to voice an opinion. Especially when that opinion can be backed up by valid documentation.

I just wanted to clear the air about this misunderstanding. I'm sure no one on this board would do anything illegal or intentionally accuse someone else of doing that. Please keep in mind that this is here for opinions and information, not to blast each other.
