Default Insurance on a new VW

I plan on buying a new VW in the future, most likely the new Rabbit or if I have the money for it, the GTI.

Does anybody own either of these cars, and what kind of insurance payment should I expect per month? (I have a clean license)

I'm from Jersey where car insurance is sky high, but I have certainly noticed how much lower it is in NC. Curious as to how much.......

You should be able to get a quote through your Ins company, good to check before you buy. We are the happy owners of a VW 2003 Jetta TDI (Diesel). DH purchased it for his comuter car when were in So Cal. It has been a great car. Usually get about 600 miles to the gallon and DH lately has been getting 700! Those are long freeway runs.

We have taken ours for service to Carolina VW on Independence, the people in the service department are always very nice and helpful.

Good luck with your research and purchase.

I have an Audi A3 which is basically a MKV GTI in Audi clothes. I pay about $475 for 6 months. I suspect the VW's will be a bit cheaper.
