I was wondering if anyone knows of a woodworking shop in the area. I recently moved into a condo in uptown Charlotte and I no longer have a personal garage to do my wood working projects.

I contacted the Woodcraft shop in Mathews and they knew of no such place in this area. Thanks for the lead however.

Have you tried looking at the wood magazine website? There are often woodworking clubs that are highlighted in the magazine for certain projects that they do to introduce kids to woodworking, etc. I have not looked for any in the area here but I would be interested if you find any. I am in the process of buying a business that deals with some aspects of woodworking and I would be interested in supplying some materials for personal use or community service type activities.

Just a thought. Buy a garage and make it into your own personal workshop any way you wish to.
