Ok, so tomorrow is our 5 yr wedding anniversay, Yaay, however I have a dilemma. I have no clue what to do.
I was secretly hoping that DH would plan something,(yeah, lazy on my part) but it's not looking like it. He's been superswamped at work so he's excused..

There is of course always the nice dinner out and stuff, but I was hoping for something a bit different. Kinda tired of celebrating things with food..lol

We are on a budget so lower cost is important. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

What about getting some good food to cook at home together and spend some quality time? Cheaper and more intimate..

Well let's see...you can go bowling (if you like to bowl). I heard about a bowling/nightclub called Strike City and it is supposed to be nice but I don't know about cost though. I can give you the link...hold on...here it is...splash.
There is also 80's night at the Breakfast Club. I don't know if you like the 80's or not but that is a place full of fun and I beleive that it is only $5.00 to get in and drinks are $1/domestic, $2 imports and $3 mixed drinks. Here is the link to the club Breakfast Club.

Christina

If it were warmer you could take a horse drawn carriage ride uptown...

TRavelling up to the Biltmore House has always been a favorite past time of ours.

I know you don't want to do food, but this Charlotte Restaurant Week deal is too good to pass up. I mean, you can eat at Ruth's Chris for $30 a piece! Now, that's a great anniversary dinner. Or, maybe try a new restaurant you've wanted to try, something different! Just a thought, it's only a couple of times a year. Also, you could hit Urbana over at Carmel and Pineville/Matthews Rd. It's a tea and massage place that's awesome. Not the bad kind of massage, either, a really nice peaceful place that has a hundred different types of teas, and offers lots of massages, including couples massages. That would be a great anniversary outing, too!

That's actually a great idea.

I know you made your choice, however a bed and breakfast in Asheville is nice too. We've done that and it was a great. It wasn't that expensive either...

Enjoy your anniversary.
