Concord waterpark resort to hire more than 500

Dang. I checked for Kansas City, KS location (wh/ interestingly - is not far from the race track there!) and they have rooms for $189.

What parents in the KCMO region are doing (i am told) is renting a room and having birthday parties there, LOL!! They evidently offer packages, too - that include tokens, ice cream, etc. Like I said - I have not been there, but this is from info I have gotten talking to friends over the last two years.

And how much is a day for 4 at Carowinds? That would be $189. And if you were staying at the roach motel across the street? Another $80. That would be $260 for one nights lodging in a dump and admission for four to Carowinds.

If you get admission on the day you check out, it works out to be cheaper than taking the family overnight to carowinds.

On second thought, maybe I would pay to stay in a hotel for a night or two near my home... could be good for a weekend getaway if we don't feel like camping and don't mind spending a little money. At least gets us out of the house and roomservice, right?
