I did a search, but need more specific information than I could find. My wife has been asking that I take her to ballroom dance lessons for as long as we've been married. Beaten down, worn out, whatever you'd call it, I'm ready to concede and give it a shot. I'm looking for a place that would allow us to do a one-time lesson, in the event that its not for us (read: me). Weekends during the day would work best, and we're in the University area, so would prefer to not travel to Pineville or Matthews.
If you are willing to add Cornelius to your list, try the Havanna Club on Catawba Ave. I often drive by and see people practicing the tango, etc. Worth a call anuyway.
From experience, stay away from the chains and try these guys. My wife and I took lessons from them, and had a GREAT TIME!!! They do a wonderful job at making you feel comfortable on all levels. They have great parties where you can come and socialize and practice with the instructors and your partners and even offer group lessons as well as individual instruction!!
They're in Pineville, and have a location in Monroe also. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
