Considering taking the blue line from 485 station to the convention center this weekend for the RV show. It looks like the station is directly across Stonewall from the convention center. Is this correct?

Also do both sides of the train run north and south or does one side run north and the other south? Just wanted to know which side of the station to come back to so we can head back to the 485 station.

Thanks for the info.

The tracks are clearly marked and there are maps at the station.
Have fun, you paid for it.

You could get off at either of two places...

1) Stonewall Station is actually a station at the Westin Hotel. So when you see the Westin you'll know its time to get off. You'll have to walk down some stairs to get to the street. Not bad going down, but you'd have to go back up them coming back. There's probably an elevator too, but I never used it.

2) 3rd Street/Convention Center Station drops you off just "past" the Convention Center, right behind the Hilton Hotel. There wouldn't be any steps (or elevators) at this station, if that were a concern.

As for your last question, its just like driving a car on a road, the "right" side, is the side of the direction you want to travel in. But yes, you will need to be on the correct side to catch the right train.

My other suggestion is that you buy a two-way ticket, so on the way back you don't have to worry about buying tickets again. But it will be easy, you'll see. Good luck.

One more thing, if you decided to get off at the 3rd St./Convention Ctr stop, there's a side entrance to the Convention Center on Martin Luther King; so you wouldn't have to walk all the way to the front entrance on College St.

So if we get off at Stonewall will the steps/elevator bring us out on Stonewall? We'd then just walk around the corner to the college street entrance correct?

Yes, you'd come down, and the convention center is right across the street, you enter on College.
