Preschools-Carmel Baptist or United Faith?? Need Help
Hi everyone we are trying to decide between Carmel Baptist or United Faith Assembly of God preschools for our 2 year old twin girls. We are enrolled in United Faith and are trying to decide if we should camp out overnight for 2 spots at Carmel Baptist. We liked both facilities, though Carmel was newer and seemed a little more estabished. It is a little more per month for Carmel, but not too big a difference.
Does anyone have their kids enrolled in either of these pre-schools? Positives? Negatives? Any Help?
Thanks for any advice!

Both of my daughters attended Carmel Baptist preschool.
My wife and a few girlfriends camped out all night for the handful of spots available to non CB members, this was approx 2003.
Ironically, it snowed that night, but there were about 25 people camping so they all had a good time.
Nothing but positive experiences with both children, although they were 3.5 & 4 yrs when they started.
Lots of instruction, and they were prepared academically and socially for kindergarten.
It is a great program and they really get the parents involved with a few night programs - top notch!
My wife taught middle school at United Faith in the mid 90s, but neither of us have any experience with their preschool.
Good luck with your twins, I'm sure they're precious!

If you are happy where you are, I would not camp out for a new spot. UF has a good reputation too.

I don't think it will be like that this year. All the preschools that typically have had waits now have open spots due to the economy.

Thanks for your help! My wife got up at 4am, got to Carmel Baptist by 5am and got number 8 for the 2yr old classes, so she got them enrolled in the class she wanted. She said there were 20-30 people who had camped out all night, people had inflatable mattresses, portable tv's!! Pretty wild!

WOW!! That is crazy.
We actually got one of the the last 5 day, 4 year spots at UF today...I took a tour and really liked it, so we will see how it goes.
Best of luck to you and your family.
