HA HA HA!!! Well, the other info I added was from NOAA. DH never comments on weather except to say he is married to a weather nutball case (I LOVE METEOROLOGY!!!). But after the weather radio went off again - he looked at radar and commented "Well, Ani, looks like we are in for bad storms tonite."

I am leaving my computer up, too, Sunny. Hang in there. Do you have a weather radio? I am watching Emergency NOAA updates . . . if I hear a thing, I will post.

We had a storm last year where lightning struck our house.
It made a tiny burn on the roof, burned out our upstairs furnace, blew a hole in a compressor line in the wall of our house, one flatscreen TV, one printer, one cablebox, and one wireless router - s*ck.

Tonight I will unplug nearly everything.
I keep the home deductible at $1000 so I spent that but had much more frustration replacing everything.

Exactly.
From the roof to the ac line that ran to the attic furnace.
All the stuff lost was upstairs, obviously spiked on the ac line.
Luckily did not make it downstairs where my real toys are...

Tonight everything OFF line.
