The rug and home commercials, especially with the chick, too loud. John Ahrens, from wsoc bugs me, I think his voice is especially cheesy.
On a positive note, the Morris Jenkins commericals compel me to sing along, and Mark Watkins from wsoc is a funny guy.

John Aherns has a southern accent as thick as they come. He does the same vocal tricks that weatherman Bill Evans from WABC in New York does. That guy's from Mississippi but over exaggerates and enunciates things to cover up his drawl. Every once in a long while it almost seems to slip out but for the most part he keeps it very much in check. Aherns seems to do the exact same thing.

I didn't know that. I don't understand the need to cover up a southern accent though. I would LOVE to hear his southern accent over his news voice, just seems so cliche.
