Arrow Townhouses for rent??

union or S Charlotte? We will need a 3 bdrm and at least 1 1/2 bth. We can live w 1 bth tho. I have been looking at apts, dh is bent out of shape, he doesn't want to have to pay rent again, I pay here, and its only 535 a mo, but only becauase the landlord is about 85 and they have a gazillion homes and they aren't in the best of shape, and here recently have become not the best of neighborhoods. I know I am not going to find any price like that, trying to convince dh that we have only been lucky with this price here, the apts around us are 800 and up. Any help much appreciated. TIA
