Default Harpers at SouthPark?

Got a coupon in the mail for Harpers restaurant. I did some searching on here, but there was nothing current on it. Is it worth going? $32 for a 3-course limited menu sounds pretty good, if it's yummy. Doesn't have to be fancy, just good food and clean. I'll be checking the Meck health dept, too, as usual. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, it is fine. I think they are a little over-priced but I have done a lot of business type meetings there as well as taking the family out.

Service has sometimes been spotty but usually the food is out in a reasonable amount of time. Menu has a lot of variety on it.

If you haven't been you should try it out and see what you think. It is a convenient location for me so I end up there fairly often.

Eaten at Harpers for years, since their original location.
Clean, everything is pretty good, casual.
My favs would be blackened salmon w/ veggies, baked potato soup, even their Mediterranean pizza (thin brick oven style).

Thanks to both of you. I'm looking for somewhere new to try. We don't go out very often, but even so we can get in a rut. No kids, though, so we're venturing beyond Avanti and Red Robin!

LOL, Avanti at the Arboretum?
We're there all the time.

The Chili's [Arboretum] will be open soon, one of the very few chains I do not mind.

Our latest eat-at-home craving, as crazy as it sounds, is sushi from Harris Teeter.

It is not bad and my girls love it.

I should look out for you! We're hard to miss...still working on inside voices.
We've gotten the Thai/Chinese from the Teeter several times. It's closer than the one at Strawberry Hill, and pretty good. I haven't give the sushi a try....yum!

If you're a macaroni and cheese fan, order the pimento mac n cheese at Harper's. It's pretty good -- extremely creamy!

Harpers at SouthPark is my favourite restaurant in Charlotte. Best prime rib in the city!! And, cheesehead, you know that means something coming from a Chicagoan!

Thanks, everyone! I think we may give it a try next weekend.
ECM: thanks for the pimento mac & cheese. That sounds very interesting. I love pimento cheese! My great-grandmother used to make it herself and it was so yummy.
Barkingowl: thanks for the tip...SouthPark is much closer for us, but good to know for the future.
chicagocubs: I was looking at that on the menu...mmm. Steak.
