Default Transferring our daughter to NC - need a math tutor!

Hi everyone. Our daughter is a senior in high school and will be transferring to Myers Park HS starting on March 10. Where we are now, Algebra II was the highest math she needed and she was done. NC requires a 4th math credit that must be higher than Algebra II. They tell me she will be taking Advanced function and modeling. She has always just gotten by in math and now she has to go further into it. Needless to say, we're worried. I don't want this to mess her up for graduation, she's so close. We need a tutor. Preferably someone that could meet with her a couple times a week. I searched, but didn't see anything recent for this age group. Anyone have any ideas? Before anyone asks, leaving her in FL 'til graduation isn't an option, she wants to come, we are not forcing her.
Thanks,
Shelly

My son took that class last semester at MPHS. Your daughter will be fine. If she has any questions the teachers will help her and if she feels she needs a tutor the teachers will help with that too.

She will get the help she needs. I know it is frightening but just let the school know your concerns and they will be on top of it.

BTW - welcome to NC!

Thanks for the replies, I feel better knowing that the teachers will be helpful. Not so at her current school in FL. I might still be interested in a tutor though if anyone has any other suggestions.
Thanks, Shelly

If you feel your daughter may benefit from a tutor, UNCC would be a good place to advertise for cheap help.
