Hello Everyone!
Can someone please direct me to a well respected beauty salon in South Charlotte or Union County? It took me a long time to find a great salon while I lived in New Jersey. I'm dreading having to go through several bad haircuts/color treatments to finally find a great stylist. (Been there done that!)
Thanks so much!

I have the BEST colorist/beautician. Her name is Toby. She was a senior stylist at Charles Grayson Salon (the highest end salon in Charlotte-at Southpark) for years. She is now at a small south charlotte salon, Salon J. Marco (704)542-0720. I am very particular about color!!!
Good luck!!

Try Jodi at Fuzion in Waxhaw (town of Waxhaw)...Unless you don't like my hair, then go somewhere else

I really like my haircutter at Carmen Carmen in Ballantyne. Her name is Unsuk... she's up there in their ladder of stylists, but I never have my hair colored by a professional because I personally like the way I do it myself better. However, no one cuts bangs like Unsuk.

Thanks so much for all of the helpful information.
And, yes, south.charlotte&union, I do like your hair! I just never thought to ask. It looks like you don't need to ever color your hair, but as you saw the last time you were here, I've got that terrible root line goin' on. I need a cut AND color. Pronto!

Oh yeah, I had a tough time finding a cutter/colorist when I moved from NYC. But I struck gold with Salon21--they are as good as what you'd typically find in the northeast.

I use Salon 21. They are not a chain. They have a new location The Fountains (off Tom Short/Ardrey Kell roads), and they have a location on the Main Street area in Waxhaw.

I use Miha at the Fountains. She charges $35 bucks, but you can pay more for the higher level stylists if you like. The owner is the most expensive there. He usually does hair at the the fashion shows, etc.

They do have a website that you can search.
