Default Another Cuban Sandwiches in Charlotte thread

Hi All!

Since joining up with CD Charlotte thread I have seen and taken part in numerous threads on how to make and where to get Cuban sandwiches and/or bread. Well I am starting another one because I am happy to report that I ate the most delicious Cuban sandwich last night. DH surprised me with it for take out from "Carolina Grill" and I totally recommend it. It make not be 100% authentic but its really close and delicious in its own right

I haven't been to the restaurant yet, but DH brought home the take out menu and they seem to also have other Cuban dishes as well... I am looking forward to trying the "El carnaval Cuban Sampler"

It seems to mostly be a sandwich place, but they have yellow rice, plantains, black beans, chicken chicarron, ropa vieja, Cuban roast pork, croquetas and empanadas and something called "cuban sirloin steak" which is likely marinated in a mojo.

But even if the only thing worth ordering turns out to be the Cuban sandwich... thats good enough for me :-)
